Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

chickenchick I LOVE reptiles so I have to ask, what kind of snake did you have and what kind was the second one? I have never had iguanas but my sister had one and she was mean. If she was in a bad mood she would knock the crap out of you with her tail if you got too close to her. It was my bro-in-laws and they didn't keep her long after my sis married him cuz after a year my sis gave him the choice of her or "Lizzy". Lizzy got sold.

Oh that is a problem about Raymond and the dog. I would try the muzzle thing first if he is really attached to him and you know there is no way the dog could hurt Raymond that way. It is worth a try befor you do anything else more drastic. Hope it works out.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that! I will be there immediately to pick Bruce up!

But seriously, I will try to help. We go through this with Thunder and Colton. Colton picks on him and he doesn't see the humor in it and then he is mad at Colton for way longer than he should be. (He remembers things for quite a while) Does he let Raymond anywhere near him at all? If so, I would have Raymond start doing more of his care. (Not saying Raymond doesn't, but I know around our house it is usually mom that does most of it). He can offer him treats or whatever Bruce likes if it is playing, going for a walk/ride, bathe or anything. I have found that when I stepped back, Thunder is starting to depend on others for more things, like putting him outside, etc. If he won't let Raymond near, can you have Raymond stand beside you and call Bruce and you both pet, praise, suck up to him, etc and you can show Bruce that Raymond isn't so bad? If all else fails, you can try the muzzle, but if Bruce isn't used to it, he may blame that on Raymond too. We haven't used Thunder's much, but I am the only one that puts it on him and does anything with him while he is wearing it so he doesn't think it is anyone else's fault. I hope you guys can work it out, give it a few days.

Right now Thunder is on thin ice again, but that is a whole different rant. Last night I was on my last nerve and really wanted to

If this snow lets up I will run to town and get a muzzle. Besides how do you give a dog away when you are saying, I am afraid he is going to attack my child?!

The snake I had was just a Garter snake. I think thats what they are called, just a small green and yellow striped snake. The other one was one that was caught in the yard. They were calm and you could hold them and feed them worms. Raymond would have friends over and they would be passing the snakes around and forget what they were doing. The next thing I knew I would find them curled up in the laundry or on the stairs!

These iguanas were bullies too! Ozzy was huge and could knock you right over if he wanted to. He got out once while I was at work! My house looked like it had been ransacked, for a second I thought I had been robbed. Until I realized he had tore the screen off the front of his cage. He had knocked everything on every surface on the floor and uprooted every plant in the place!

Oh! Tell Destiny Thank you! That is absolutely adorable!!!!! Those are cool turtles, can i have one, no, no, I don't need anything else to feed, must say no........................

Thanks for the advise on Bruce. If he gets anywhere near him he growls and starts to shake. If Raymond is on the couch and I walk him over to hubby, he just glare at Raymond. Hubby says he is just keeping an eye on him so he knows where he is. It is really upsetting and scary! I never thought about Bruce blaming the muzzle on Raymond too. I think you are right about giving it some time. Raymond may be going to Havre for the weekend , maybe Bruce will forget while he is gone?

Destiny stayed home today and called over the noon hour to tell me they keep knocking one of their bricks down and she is afraid they will hurt themselves, so she took it out. They really are neat creatures to watch! I will trade you one for Bruce...Deal?

I would just wait it out with Bruce if you can. If he is not actively seeking Raymond out to hurt him. He probably just wants Raymond to know he was a "bad boy"! If he doesn't get better, we will send him and Thunder off to doggie boot camp!

Thunder has been challenging all authority in our house and it is getting old in a hurry. I was waiting for warmer weather before I take him in to get clipped, but he may not live that long.

By the time we went to bed last night I was

with him!

Thunder's hormones are getting the best of him right now. He has targeted Pocono (yes, he is male too) and taken Pocono as his boyfriend!
hide.gif
He is very protective of Pocono and gets aggressive if anyone tries to bother "his" cat. I had to literally hold him by his collar last night so he wouldn't attack hubby when he put the cat out. He barked, growled and tried to go after him. Sunday night hubby tripped over him and accidentally kicked him, so Thunder bit him and drew blood. They are in the same boat as Bruce/Raymond right now trying to make up and Daddy taking his cat last night didn't help matters any! So, last night if the we put the cat out, he would whine and bark to go out. If the cat was in he was constantly bothering him. Jumping on the couch (which he never does) or "jumping" on the cat. It was a circus and it seemed like I spent the entire night "Thunder, NO!" "Sit!" Strangely, Pocono didn't seem to mind at all and kept rubbing up against him, when he got tired of him he got on the back of the couch which prompted Romeo to follow! Poor Pocono is our old worn out black cat with a bum leg and horrible sneezing all the time. We let him in because we feel sorry for him, but he found himself on his bottom on the porch! I am hoping for a quieter evening tonight for American Idol!
