Hey everyone. Enjoyed getting caught up on all the goings ons.

I was like Des most of my life and am just now getting to where I will stand up for myself but still not as much as I need to. I think I am like chicken chick, I must have a sign somewhere on me that says walk all over me. People at work are the worst about it.

I have been totally obsessed with the idea of hatching pure breed americanas and any type or maran or wellsamer that has really dark eggs. That is what I have spent most of my day looking for on BYC. Have not gotten any house work done and am sure my DH is about to smack me cuz I can't stop talking about it! I just want to hatch something but am tired of hatching my mutts. I AM GOING TO GO INSANE IF I DON'T GET SOMETHING IN MY BATOR SOON!! LOL

Michelle I was just like Desi at her age, still am somewhat

Ed and Jackie, my youngest girl, are finally headed home

, they'll be here some time in the morning. The last day and a half have been nerve racking

. Started yesterday with no cigarettes, was gonna try to quiet

, ended up driving to the closest store for gas and cigs around 6:30 last night

. I took Amy with me and the van stalled out 3 times

. I was shaking by the time I got a cig., we decided at that point that we were not going on into Selmer to get a few groceries and tp

. Headed home and the van stalled as I was pulling into the driveway

. I'm so glad it waited till I was mostly in the driveway before stalling since I live on a highway. Talked to Ed and found out they were staying at my Mom's for 1 more night

. Ran outta TP and sugar this morning so my oldest girl went across the highway to our wonderful neighbors who loaned us 2 rolls and a few cups of sugar

Corbin, Amy's oldest boy, is sick too. He was wonderful about taking his medicine and is sleeping peacefully now

. I'll be soooo glad when Ed gets home

, especially since he's been having truck trouble while down in Florida. I'm so looking forward to having my nice, calm life back again

I know! Its killing me! But we are going to be gone for a few days the first part of March for our Anniversary trip. Last year I did have eggs set while we were gone and I worried about them the whole time we were gone. I told you girls I lent my bator out. Hubby made it for me and it was just awesome. Every hatch out of it turned out great with the exception of some shipped eggs that the PO played football with! Well when I got it back it was in such sad shape that hubby said he wanted to build me a new one. The last one was out a cooler . This one he will build out of wood. He also said he will "let" me post pics for you! LET!!! Just try and stop me!


We tried letting Raymond give Bruce a treat last night. I thought it would work because when he saw Raymond after school he started wagging his tail. Raymond spoke to him from a distance and all seemed fine. I held Bruces collar and asked him to sit. Raymond walked up to him slowly but as soon as he got right to him, Bruce growled and lurched forward. Scared the heck out of both of us. I had to tug on his collar and he kept growling and snarling at him. Teeth and all so I drug him to the bedroom. We go to the "city" tomorrow for groceries so we will get a muzzle and try that. Hubby was a little scared to try Charmeds trick on him after that growl! Bruce was really scared/ angry? I feel so bad for Raymond. Oh well, we will try every thing we can first.

How is Destiny today by the way? I have had friends like that too in the past. I hope she can stand up for herself to this girl. If she is like me though she will feel bad about saying anything at all! Tell her Hi and we are her "real" friends anyway!

So it sounds like he has a great attitude. He updates his journal on his web page every day. He even met a girl at the hospital pool and started "school" yesterday.

I am sorry you are having such a horrible time with your van. I can see why you are ready for them to be home! I would be too. Thank goodness for nice neighbors!
