I get everything except cat and dog feed at the co-op, I get cat and dog feed from Wally World. I actually need to update our cat numbers, Bottsy brought home 2 of his sons recently
. I asked if they carry chicks when Spring gets here and the guy looked at me like I was crazy
. We're getting some chicks soon anyways though
. Ed wants to get our 10 gal. aquarium running again
, haven't used it except for for chicks since we moved up here. I'm actually looking forward to it since we're gonna get some neons
. I've always loved animals, you shoulda seen the zoo my parents had when I was little
. Dad had rabbits and chickens for food, they bred collies for show. I have no idea how many small birds or what types, they were in Dad's "Bird room". He also had a zillion tanks for raising and selling fish
. I always enjoyed helping Dad out, he never let me help process the food animals though, so I'm learning that now
. It's been really neat though cause me and Dad can talk for ages about my animals, he lives in a small trailer now and can't have any other than their cat. If you knew my Dad you'd be shocked cause he's allergic to the phone
. Guess you could say it's in my genes
