We enjoyed out day in the city. Then we had our supper with hubbys folks and a nice visit. They had been gone since Dec . FIL said he heard one of the luge participants died yesterday. I haven't heard any details yet. What a horrible thing to happen when you have worked for this your whole life.

Hate having to avoid going places because people are jerks. When people are rude or jerks, I make sure their boss knows about it. Though in the current state of the economy , you hate to think you are the cause of getting someone fired. I went to the pharmacy the other day to stock up on nyquil for my medicine cabinet? and the guy at the register looked really down and out. You could tell he was not enjoying his day. I guess we are all entitled to one of those days.

Yeah he is the owner. That is the sad part LOL!

Hey everyone, just got home from work and finished getting caught up on yesterdays conversation lol.

I got eggs in the mail today!!! I had forgotten all about them when the guy that delivers my mail gave me a huge box. I was like "what is this?" LOL. Matt (my mail dude) just laughed at me and said I order too much if I can't remember what it is.
I was so excited I had to open them right in the middle of all my mail and get them all out. They were from the Feb. egg swap on another thread on BYC. 15 were sent but 5 were crushed.

I am so happy to have 10 since 6 is all we are required to send. I have no idea what kind they are other than standard something. One is an EE and another is prolly a leghorn since it is white. Don't know any other standard hens that lay white.

My bator is over flowing!!!

I hope everyone has a fun valentine this weekend. My mother is having a chocolate party tonight for all the family. Everything is going to be some sort of chocolate!!
Guess I will go now so I wont be late for the party.

Been a busy 2 days here

. Yesterday we took everyone to Shiloh for a few hours

, then hit the Savannah Walmart for a few things

, that place is huge

! We spent a few hours there

, about half that time trying to track down my kids and his daughter

. I got Ed a really nice big coffee cup with a puppy for Valentines Day, he loves it. He got me a card and some candles

. He's been fixin the washer water thingies today and is taking the washer to work to fix it tomorrow. He's also fixin the bathtub faucets and puttin in a shower

. I had to go under the house today cause one of Jackie's buffs was laying under there. Turned out we had 22 eggs under there

. I pulled her and the eggs out and put her in the box I set up for my first broody

, then she decided she didn't want to lay on em

. She's now back outside with the others and they all got scrambled eggs since I have no idea how long they'd been laying under there

. Now I get to try to keep an eye on em and shoo anyone out so hopefully that'll break em of that bad habit

. Hope y'all are havin a fun weekend and a very Happy Valentines Day

NY that looks like a blast! That is not a bad picture of you! You look amazing AND young. Its no fair really!

You are right about Raymond, as soon as he gets home I will show him that picture and he will give me that sheepish little grin then say "yea, shes hot"!!!!

That pig costume is too cute. It looks like you all had a lot of fun. Our weekend was pretty quiet but I love quiet. I think hubby was going a little stir crazy though.

Quiet- 19 eggs! Wow! Sneaky birds aren't they!

I have to drive to Shelby this afternoon to pick up Raymond from the train. I am going to leave a little early so I can spend some time at Pamida

Jazzy do you need more shoes?!

NY--Thank you for sharing the pics! It looks like it was a whole lot of fun even though it is so cold! I guess we should all be used to it by now, but I am not.

thechickenchick--Glad you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was quiet too!

quiet--Sounds like you had a terrific weekend!!

charmed--How's it going? Sorry about the snow! I heard about the pile ups in KC, you guys had the bullseye! We got probably a total of less than 2 inches the whole weekend. I thought there for a while last night it was going to get harry, but we were lucky!
