Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

I will be here until noon and maybe a little bit in the afternoon, then I have to make a sales call. I am hoping to go home and take a nap after that. I was 45 minutes late for work today, so I am out of sorts, on top of everything else.

I did incubate a few last year. Thought they were pretty good size before I introduced them to the others, but they promptly killed them! I also had the 2 females go broody at the same time last summer and hatch several, but the boys were gone and Destiny and I couldn't get them away by ourselves and they killed them before we got them out. So, we are going to have these 4 until something happens, because apparently they don't like new roommates!

I think when you incubate, they need more humidity and it takes 28 days? I can't remember for sure right now. I had more duds then actual hatching. It was much easier to go to the feed store and pick them up! But, I will keep my eye out for them to lay. I collected every egg last year and threw them in the bator, but had decided this year to see if they will do it themselves again and get the little ones out of there. We live and learn. Like I said, I won't add any more to the meanies!!

You know they are very ugly? And loud? That being said, they are very curious creatures!
