Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

something in her throat or stuck in her nostral???

I don't think so. How would I check to see if something is caught in her throat? She's not gagging. She is also breathing fine. I think it's something in her ears but have never seen any mites. I checked under her wings and her vent. I'm afraid it's mites I might not be seeing. Birds have been getting into the coop when it gets cold or rainy. Sometimes quite a few.

Good afternoon! You guys are chatty today

It is not nice here today. We are getting 60 mile an hour winds! I figured it was a good day to use the clothes line, so I hung our sheets and blankets out with about 50 clothes pins!! I still had to chase them across the back yard!!

I love some line dried sheets though

Thanks for the baby advice. The remaining 3 seem healthy today and full of energy. So

Charmed holy smokes I think you and Michelle are tied for crappy luck! I will back away from this competition!! I am so sorry to hear about the cow and calf. How sad. Now you have a sick hen

I wish I knew something that could help but I don't have a clue.

NY you need to slow your butt down girl!!!!!

Michelle your Memorial day project actually sounds like fun! Everyone staying together for a long weekend.

Sounds like great quality time and I bet Mom loves it too. Kennys birthday is right around Memorial Day so it is usually a camping trip for us.

What is everyone's Easter plans? We were going to be at my Aunt and Uncle's cabin. Remember we were supposed to go therefore Christmas but the weather was bad. So we spent it in GFs at their house. So we all rescheduled to spend Easter at the cabin. However know that they are moving and in light of my cousins death we are going to postpone the cabin plans. That is ok though because Kenny only had Sunday off and this way we will go on his weekend off so we can spend more time there. It is such a beautiful place. We really have no plans for Easter. If my in-laws don't go to Washington we will go to their house.

Raymond came out of his room for some tea and a poptart! Then he went back to bed. I am not sure what kind of dog "Honey" is! I called a no kill shelter in the same town we do our vet business. I have to take Rocky there in the morning for his teeth cleaning. Turns out the woman who runs the shelter is the receptionist at our vet and she knew exactally who I am! That crazy cat/dog/chicken lady. So she said to bring it with me to Rockys appointment and they will take care of her eye and try to find her a home. We talked about keeping her................

Tonight is Beef Stroganoff and I baked a Sour cream coffee cake. What are you all having for supper?

mites are sneaky nasty buggers-flip her upside down so you are holding herbackwards in your arms like a football-head pointed at ground-flip her tail up and check through all her butt feathers down at skin level-they mainly come out at night when they roost-SOB's! I just dewormed and such 50+ yesterday al by myself-I should be pooing out parasites anytime now:) LOL

I am thinking of a quick easy supper tonight (no not really different from any other) of Hot turkey sandwiches. We still want to walk and work on our screen play.

I am kinda excited about our projects too. It gives us time to spend with Mom and several friends we don't see often. I have several things planned, so I haven't decided when I need to head over. Either Wed or Thurs evening of that week and come back Mon or Tues. at least. I haven't figured all that out yet.

No plans for Easter, probably just another quiet Sunday at home. We don't usually do anything unless we go to Mom's for lunch or something.

Still thinking of keeping Honey? I knew it!! What do the others think of her? Congrats on your new dog!!

DH has to be at the airport at 5:45 am the monday after Easter so I think we are going to town, eat dinner and catch a movie and then get a hotel nearby the airport so we don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get there! Any good movies out that we ought to see?

Afternoon everyone! Been busy with house cleaning all day so just now taking the time to get on the net.

Chickenchick-- I used to have rentals and know exactly what you are talking about. It really sucks to take all that time and money to clean and fix up a house just to have renters leave it looking like a bunch of kids just had a party in there and left all their garbage and holes in the walls too. I have even had some renters to take the faucets and toilets when they leave!

Hope Raymond gets better soon.

Wish I could tell ya what to do about the lil babies but never raised them befor.

Michelle--Sorry about your bad car luck but I did get a good laugh thinking of you riding a bike to work every morning lol
I have heard about the Blind Side an really want to see it. Didn't know it was out yet. I am wondering if I will see any of the
buildings I know in Memphis.
I can't drive a standard car either. My dad taught me to drive in his when I was 18 but just a month later that car broke down and the only other car we had was an automatic. I drove that one so long after that, that I forgot how to drive a standard. I am the only one in my family that can't and don't really care to learn. DH taught himself and that was REALLY funny to watch. I am proud of him though. Don't know too many people that would do that.

Charmed I used to raise cows and my first cow died kind of like yours did. Really sorry for you.

I had a really good time yesterday and have to share. Since all the snow is melting up north from here, the Mississippi river is flooding all of the bottom lands and that means lots of fun for me!! It is not so high that anyone has to evacuate and next to no one lives down there anymore anyway. I hope yall don't think I am uncaring for getting excited about the river flooding. Around here it is a big deal for all the people that like to fish. When the water starts to cross the road the buffalo fish (edible good carp) start going crazy and want to fight the current that is crossing the road. My brother and I stood in knee deep water with rubber boots on and every time I would see a fish I would point it out to him and he would try and shoot it with his bow and arrow. We got 2 good sized buffalo that we gave to my DH(his favorite fish) and had a great time. We are thinking about going back later this afternoon or tomorrow.

tenants suck-we have them still and have for 10+ years. We have spent more than made 1 dime--we have houses we cant sell because the market is terrible and we are stuck renting to help make mortgage payments-we are still upside down every month it rots-broken windows-ruined carepts-pets that are not allowed-urine soaked carpets-poop all over the lawns-etc..you name it weve had it-drug dealers-pregnant people-lying pastors-seen it and heard it all.. what can you do though except suck it up and get rid of it al-which we are trying very hard! Id keep that measly 100$ too! Next time you rent take pictures of every room-anything that is damaged and every thing that is not-do the walk through with new tenants and make them sign a note that says exactly the shape the place is in when they move in so when they leave there is no doubt what damage has been done-believe me it has saved us 1000's!

I want to see that movie sooo bad!! Im glad to hear it was good-I like Sandra Bullock ( SP)
