I will get some of that stuff done. Its time to go around the house and buildings and pick up all the trash the dogs hid in the snow and ice all winter. I am sure there is $50 worth of half eaten raw hide bones out there too!

The "kitty barn" needs to be raked out when it dries. Their side is like one big litter box this time of year. Why go outside to poop? Its snowy out there, geez!

It does seem like Mattys infection is better. I did peel one scab off, he scratched the other off and the one is almost completely healed. The other looks good. His chin still feels hot/warm. No swelling though. I did give him an egg this morning. Any ideas on what to fatten him up with? I know pizza and ice cream worked for me!

Speaking of that............... I was on the Stair Master this morning and it started falling apart

Seriously, there was nuts falling on the floor! Of course Kenny was kind

enough to fix it for me!

Those ducks, especially the bigger ones, are total slobs with their water! I told them to clean their room before I got home, but I doubt they listen any better than the children do!

I am glad the kitty is doing better. The egg is a good idea, I would think any leftovers you can spare will help. Has he been wormed? That might have something to do with weight loss.

I have been a good girl this week and had a salad for lunch and peaches for dessert. Today I did have some tuna, but limited my bread and I have still been walking as much as I can. I haven't weighed myself for a good long while, I may do that soon and see what the evil scales have to say!

Good friday morning all!

Sunny here but still only 20. It is supposed to be a nice day and so far there is no wind.

I came out of the bedroom this morning and heard a cat howling! I though maybe Kenny had locked one in his "work room" where he is building his RC plane. ( He is channeling his inner geek

He is as Macho as they come but I still have to tease him, cause its fun!! It is a payback for all those age jokes I get!) Well I opened the door and there was no cat. Then it dawns on me, its Mattys voice

His voice! He is using his voice! That is the first time since I brought him in, and he pooped for the first time

He has been eating canned food because I thought it would be easier for him and more enticing. Well I was out so I took him some dry food and he scarfed it down. I think he is going to be just fine

His chin is still a little warm but I have a little antibiotic left so I will just keep it up for now.
Thanks for mentioning the worming. I hadn't thought of that and I do have some wormer so I will do that today.

Yes! I broke it! Of course it is fixed now so I have to use it again! Good for you keeping up your walking and eating right and less smoking! You have some wonderful willpower girl! Send me some please!!!!! I quit weighing myself, the scale isn't budging and Kenny is dropping the pounds working out 3 days a week and snacking anytime he wants! I work out 6 or 7 days a week and fret about every bite that goes in my mouth! I finally decided as long as I am working out and eating relatively healthy that is all I can do. My clothes are fitting better due to the work outs so the excess fat must be just shifting places

Do any of you girls have a hot tub? We found a free one on CL that needs a little work. I have wanted one for years. Well Kenny finally caught the bug too! So we are going to drive 4 hours to Missoula this weekend to pick it up. It won't be hooked up right away as Kenny needs to do a few things to it. I was just curious if you girls had any tips or suggestions for keeping it clean or anything else. I know nothing about them but I am excited!

Good Morning!

It is one of those days. Rainy and cooler, I slept late and things haven't gone right since. Our business e-mail is down, I messed with it an hour before I figured out it wasn't just me. Of course, I don't know anything about it anyway! Our "tech" guy is out of town with his dying FIL, so I don't know when we will get it up and running again. I then decided to print new business cards since I have been out for a while and finally got some card stock, but of course, I have to bungle my way through that too! But it is Friday and I will survive the day! Trivia tonight, off shopping tomorrow and then spending Sunday as a catch up day for everything I didn't get done this week. (Unless the laundry fairy visits while I am gone!)

I am glad Mattie is feeling much better! Sounds like he is really progressing! Pics?

I still haven't weighed myself yet either, but it seems like my last summer clothes are fitting a little looser.

Oh yeah, and no we don't have a hot tub.

But I would love to have one! It is on my "things I want when I have money laying around with no where to go". But with my luck, I would have to share it with ducks or something!

Speaking of that, I went to help Colton load wood down by the neighbor's pasture yesterday and took Thunder. I let him loose with no leash and he was such a good boy! He loved romping around and exploring! We got ready to leave and he jumped in the truck with Colton instead of the car with me and we had a time trying to get him out and last night he wouldn't let hubby put him out to potty,

(so I had to tie him out while I was in the buff so he would shut up and not eat hubby's leg off) but he is really good with me! I just don't know what his deal is!

It sounds like you have a fun filled evening and weekend planned, well except of course the laundry. I did all but one load yesterday, while Kenny was working on his plane. Stupid cat peed on the bed so I had to wash sheets off schedule! Today I have to finish putting it all away and hope to clean out my not-so-walk-in closet in the process

I loved the thunder story! I have missed those lately! That dog seems to have so much personality

We have no plans this evening, watch 20/20 I guess. Kenny works today and is supposed to work tomorrow. He called a while ago and said he may get tomorrow off because they are slow. So if he does we will go to MIssoula tomorrow to get the HT . If not we will take Sunday for that. Also tomorrow night is his company dinner. I made arrangements for Raymond at a friends house so he can just spend the night in town.
