He had him last year for MD too. He says he did not but Raymond even remembers it! But I digress..... I am excited to get it all planted. I am going to plant a little in one of my flower beds here after lunch. We are spose to get rain the next few days too.

BTW Kenny must like the Mac salad. He had some for a snack last night and I see he had some for breakfast! I was planning on serving it for supper but I may just make Potato soup and save the salad for tomorrow so he isn't tired of it. Then again if he likes it that much there may not be any for supper if I wait until tomorrow!! I am baking Peanut Butter Cookies right now.

Did I miss the cookies? I just got back from lunch, but discovered I wasn't very hungry. I will be regretting it later this afternoon!

I will tell you all about the class. Jerry, my co-worker, asked what we will learn. I said "well, it is supposed to be for women over 60 and mainly defense for sexual assault, so surely not too high impact. We will probably learn how to kick in the appropriate places and things like that." He just backed away!

Destiny is going with our sports director tonight to the Mizzou caravan in Mendon. It is a nice dinner where you get to meet different players from various sports from MU. She is very disappointed that this year's football player that will be there is Luke Lambert.

He is from not far from here, her age, and was the reason their team kicked our behinds every year in football.

The year after he graduated, we finally beat them. I thought since he became a Tiger I would be a bigger fan, but I have found he is usually standing around staring at the pile after each play. I told her to ask him how the heck he hurt his shoulder last year!

So, I am pretty excited for Idol Gives Back tonight! I usually don't look forward to the performers they have on Wednesdays, but maybe tonight will be some real talent!

I am sitting here listening to my name on the radio for the contact to enter the showdown. It reminds me of Colton coming in yesterday and saying "do you know how many times I heard your ad and name on the radio today?" I said, "Well if you listen all day it should be 12 times unless you flip it over and catch it some on one of our other 2 stations!" He just

I am excited for the show too! I am telling you, you and Des are rubbing off on me. I have even set the DVR just in case something comes up! It should be a great show!

My hubby doesn't like Idol at all so he spends his time in the garage when it is on, although I have went out and caught him watching it a time or two or had him ask a question about it. We only started watching it a few years ago, actually, the year David Cook won was probably our first season. We had heard a lot about it, but hadn't watched before. This year we have each kept a detailed notebook on each week's performances (except last week when Bailey was sick). So, we can go back and tell you exactly what each person sang every week, what we thought of them and what the judges said! Can you say obsessed?

I told Colton no one has called to enter yet, so I may have to run more. He was like "maybe no one will and we won't have to do it this year." He doesn't mean it, he likes to see all the pretty young girls that perform! And he enjoys being part of the show and helping it get put on. It probably is weird to hear his Mom's name so much on the radio! I was listening yesterday to our station while it was in satellite (we pull from a station in Colorado when we aren't live). Anyway, the DJ does what is called the "delivery room" where she features a new song and then people call in or e-mail and rate it. So, I am sitting here and I hear Dakota say "Destiny says...."blah blah I can't remember the exact wording she said. I yell to the room next to me and said "Is that you?!" Sure enough! It was!
