She just texted and said hubby felt sorry for her and went to town to borrow a generator! He is a sweetie!

Has anyone heard anything from chickenchick? I hope she got her eggs warmed back up. Anyone got anything good planned for this weekend? It is city wide garage sale time in the town where my dad lives. I am going to try to make a sweep. ( I will look for a generator, chickenchick!)

Hey girls! You are all so sweet to worry for me. It is super cool that you all shared info to help little ole me! I'm sorry I was stressing on you so bad.

I just thought someone may have an idea I didn't AND Charmed suggested moving the bator next to the heater. Well DUH! I could not believe I did not think of that. Like Kenny said to his Dad, (who by the way thought it was nuts to go to town for a generator for EGGS!) Like Kenny said though, it would have been different if they were our eggs but they are something we couldn't find around here and cost some $! Besides, the thought of those babies dying in the shells just days from being born really got to me. So hopefully the cool temps didn't last long enough to hurt anything, I spose it may slow them down but hopefully I will still hatch something

They have been back up to normal now for quite a while. They were cold for less than 4 hours.

What do you all think? Am I safe??

We are seriously talking about getting a back up generator. Really we should have one anyway. We checked and a new one at Home Depot is $2000. So maybe we can find one on CL for half. Keep your eyes peeled.
