Charmed don't feel bad about the smoking thing. I know Kenny had to quit a few times. When Raymond had his accident he didn't even "kinda" start again, it was full bore! I hated it! However I tried very hard not say anything, I knew it was hard on him because it had taken so much to quit the time before. On top of that his best friend smoked so it was super easy to bum one, or 10! He is the one that just quit using the Chantix. Thank goodness because I know Kenny fights the urge at times and without L having them ion him it will be so much easier!

Michelle I laughed my butt off about that text you sent back to Kenny! I told him he should just take me to visit you and Charmed! I will tell him about your storm watch, that ll make him smile! He is grating the road right now. He should be working but his boss told him to stay home today. Some of the roads they haul oil on are closed so there isn't much to do. That will probably mean he will work on Sunday! Thats ok though.

Congrats on making it through your first day. Kenny said the Tic Tacs with the red and yellow ones mixed are yummy

Are you going to post pictures of your new babies? Oh and how are the kitties doing? Wow I feel so far behind, I was only gone a day AND I got to text with you and talk to Charmed

Seriously I think it will be very close to the top of the priority list! I mean sheesh we were only out for about 30 hours and i was starting to feel like Laura Ingalls!

Ya know its not just the no power thing, but we have no water when the power is out. Is any one else set up like this? I think Boyd is. Thankfully I remembered that while Kenny was in town getting the generator for me

So he went to his Moms and filled up two camping jugs. No water, no toilets! Yuk!

Yep! We haul our water from a natural spring about 3 miles away. It gets put in the cistern and is pumped to the house with an electric pump. Not such a slick idea when there isn't any power

AND yes our mail lady rides a beautiful horse, or is that you coming down the road?!

Can't you put a pitcher pump on the cistern for when your electric goes out?
