In case you guys have forgotten, I don't usually bake anything, so are you really brave enough to try it? I did fix it Saturday night, it was gone yesterday afternoon and hubby requested it again tonight. I don't know why you guys get into this cooking/baking thing. Once it gets started, it is expected! :rolleyes: I would think the fact that Des and I are even looking at recipes should count for something, but no, it is expected that we are actually going to put them to use!

You are right!! Maybe the next time you bake you should say the neigbor brought it over, then you won't have to do it any time he wants it!! Kenny finally told me I could bake all I want to but I have to give most of it away because he doesn't need it! It got so bad Raymonds bus driver (also Raymond!) asked if I was trying to make him fat!!

Fortunately, I don't have to worry about it going to waste. Before it was even cool, my scrawny, bottomless pits had wolfed down all but 4 pieces. The one each of us girls ate and 2 in the pan. I am certain that was Colton's breakfast this morning!

I am helping Destiny with research on a new book idea about a ghost town a few miles up the highway from us. It is all very interesting and I think I finally found directions to get to it!

We still haven't read the one from April about the monastery. I will have to get onto her about a copy of that one too!

Middlebury. It is technically in Mercer County now, but was in Grundy Co when it was formed. Apparently all that is left of it is an old rundown cemetery. Destiny was looking at a Mercer Co map while she was at their library Friday and it peaked some interest. We drove around some Friday to find it, but I finally found directions to the cemetery and we were darned close the other day.

This is part of what we found about it. I am not sure there are really pics to take, but we always have the camera handy. Hubby and Colton will be late tonight, so I am guessing we will head up there after work.
