Sadly, those junior high boys haven't won a game in like 2 or 3 years, so they are used to it. When we lost last week I think the freshmen were more excited than anyone since they didn't know what winning was like!
That hot chocolate pic looks almost as yummy as what we had last night. After the game Misty fixed us up a wonderful cup covered with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup and brought it to our table as soon as we got there (without asking for it) It was her son's game we went to and she had to work and miss it. I thought it was so very sweet of her to do it!
My situation was a little different with the hair dresser. She knew everyone in town wouldn't be happy with her, so she never really tried to be friends with me after she came back. Our husbands no longer worked together, but it was clear that no one approved of what she did. When I see her around town I still say Hi to her, but we don't really talk any more. My suggestion would be that you still talk and be friendly with her, maybe she won't bring up the hair thing. Who knows, maybe the other women are tired of going to her too and you may have given them the courage to change too!
