Yeah... The Outsiders is where is it's at. And they did a REALLY good job transferring the book to the movie. One of the best I think

I agree.

And I drooled over Johnny in the book anyway so I thought Ralph Macchio playing him was... well, perfect. What a cutie lol

Honestly, she had no say in the matter. That was all she was exposed to at a young age and has grown to appreciate the 80s even as she has gotten older! My sister is a huge Sam Elliott fan and I must say he isn't bad at all! Now, talk about an awesome 80s movie...The Outsiders! Look at all the "no names' they crammed into one film and look how they all turned out. That is one of my favorite books and favorite movies of all time!

YES! The Outsiders is wonderful too! I read the book, my freshman year in school. Ironically Raymond read it last year too. Then they showed them the movie in school. He thought it was really cool to see so many of those guys that young. I had to remind him that I was young once too

I read it freshman year too! I let Destiny read the copy I bought back then and she had to tape it together so it wouldn't fall apart! I absolutely loved that movie and book! The 80s really put out a lot of good movies though. We are still thinking of "new" ones Destiny would like. My other all time favorite movie also came from the 80s...Top Gun!

About what?

Do we want to do a trade for a Miranda Lambert concert in November?

Me too! I just don't know if I want to jump through all the hoops for the trade. She will be in Independence November 19th with Eric Church and Josh Kelley. Should be a good concert.

I used to be a huge Tom Cruise fan until he got all weird on me.

Hello? Have we all forgotten about An Officer And A Gentleman? With the very hot young Richard Gere?
