I ended up having a grilled chicken salad. Brenda is taking me out for my birthday lunch today. The place we are going to has an awesome craisan and walnut salad. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not

All this "lunching" is making me feel like a spoiled (and fatter ) woman!!
 
Good Morning! Doing some detective work today.

Brought my books in. I will see what I can get scanned when Dad wakes up. He's still asleep so I have to be quiet!

According to my calender, today is the first day of fall! Well, the weather guy said it started at 11 something last night. And there is a full moon tonight too! Since I quit smoking on June 21st (the first day of summer) and it worked so well, I have officially started my diet today, the first day of Autumn. Hope that is a good omen! DH wants me to check out Slim for Life. His cousin is on it and she swears by it. She looks great too! I think they take supplements, I'm not sure. I have to do some looking up of stuff today. I'll see her this weekend at the family reunion and bend her ear alittle! Lol!


PS....those of you who are sick I hope you feel better but please don't cough directly into the screen. I do not want to catch what you have, thank you. Lol!

awesome! where is this points list again? I had 2 eggs and 4 pieces of toast for breakfast lunch..I laways eat hardy for that one meal that gets split between to meals

Advise....no matter what dressing you use, do not put it on your salad. Have it on the side and dip each forkful into that so you don't overdo your dressing

You know....I have been on so many diets, I should write a book. I wonder if anyone would read it if there is a "fat" picture of me on the cover?

Forget weight watchers points. I just need to skip buying dates for a while. That'll cut out a boatload of calories. Seriously. I buy them in 3 pound tubs. That's over 4,100 calories right there. Hope you get feeling better! We've got boatloads of students showing up sick to class already. I'm hearing them toss the word flu around, too, but that doesn't mean it's really FLU. They don't seem to understand that flu=influenza DOES NOT = common cold or food poisoning.
However, last night I had at least FOUR in one class with severe chest coughs. That does not bode well...

your awesome big or little -medium-small-thats not what makes us:-) I have to say when I have dressing on the side I smother it in it. I use more on the side than I do pouring it on

My sister does her salad like that. I always just dump in on and then have way too much swimming at the bottom. I guess I could try it that way instead.
