chickenchick--You are so creative! Des and I didn't even carve a pumpkin this year. Time just got away from us.

I made chili Sunday for us to have in shifts/between waves of trick or treaters at the station. I fixed it Saturday night and turned on the crock pot Sunday morning. By evening it would have been really good if someone hadn't messed with it, but that is a totally different story. I had too much hamburger for the pot so last night I took the left overs, added the extra meat, beans and other spices and we had it again. Tonight will be the first time I have actually had to cook a meal in what seems like forever!

Girls....girls.... calm down. There is nothing to making pumpkin butter. The recipe I use I got from here. It might be in the BYC cookbook. I will have to find it when I get home if it's not. Pumpkin butter is just like apple butter. You make it in the crockpot and it's the same consistancy as apple butter. I will see if I can find it here.
