That's no excuse. They still have pumpkins for sale. I bet Des can find some. You don't have to can it. Just put it in a sterile jar and keep it in the fridge. It won't last very long, trust me! It's wonderful on toast, bisquits, pancakes etc. And it smells divine while it's cooking!

You could use pumpkin puree but I don't think it would be as good.

I did a whopping 181 words right before I went to bed last night. I didn't even get all my pre-writing stuff jotted down when I was full of ideas. I almost decided to skip it altogether, but I am at least going to give it a shot. I am fairly certain I won't finish, but I will at least try to get something down.

I hate it when I feel like I didn't get to say bye to one of you too! Havent had dinner yet, it is only 5:30 here and Kenny won't be home until about 8 so we will wait for him. It is Taco tuesday here so that whats for supper

Kenny makes the soft shells homemade but beings he will be so late I am going to try my hand at it. Wish me luck

Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky! He also makes Eggs Benedict for me on Mothers Day and my Birthday and any other time I ask. The Taco shell recipe was actually my Dads. He would make them when we had Tacos when I was a kid, it made it a special family supper. I alwyas asked for them on my birthday just to see my Dad in the kitchen. It just reminded me of being a kid. My Dad died when I was 30, he made them for me that year. So now Taco Night is special because my husband uses my Dad recipe.

The story behind Kenny and I started when Raymond was a baby. His friend worked at the same place I did. Him and I met when he was 17 and I was 24/25!! Then my husband and I moved back to our hometown when Raymond was 2, we divorced a year later. When Raymond was 11 I moved back here and within the first month Kenny and I had ran into each other and started dating , 4 years later, here we are!
