You can! You just have to keep them inside.

Tehehe. Chicks...or man. Chicks...or the husband. Easy decision...

Send the husband to live in the woodshed & get those chicks incubating!

I will be around a little too. I may need to go pickup Raymond soon as it is snowing again.....

Still looking good down there. The new brooder is working GREAT. It should keep them for a week or two, I think.

The only one that worries me is Boots, with his little foot problems. He's a beauty and the only one I have of that color.

I would be checking on mine constantly too. The reason I can't do that this time of year is that we have no basement and no extra room. So my choice is put up the Christmas tree or bring in the brooder. I don't have to tell you what my choice was but the "boys" like their tree

ROFL!!! Christmas tree -- bye bye! Baby birds -- HELLO!

Toss the guy out into the woodshed. Then you can trade whatever size bed you have for a twin & have lots of space leftover to put the brooder into your bedroom.

Thanks! Good luck with the buttons. Remember, short cages, solid bottom, no wire, grind the food up til it is like cornmeal, and get a quail waterer--and then, put those flat craft marbles in it because they can still drown.

Quailladyoffortmyers packs her eggs well if you need to order button eggs.
