We have the same exact types of arguments here too!! He asked why I don't like Green Day. I said because every song I hear coming out of your room is one they stole from someone else, that did it better

He would say which one? Then the argument would begin, then end with Kenny on the inter net proving it to him!! I can't belive BS would even try to out do Joan Jett!! I saw her in concert when I was a Freshman in hs

I even got to shake her hand

I have always loved Joan Jett, she is such a BAMF!! She puts a lot of emotion in her songs and it is very catchy!! The Brittney version came out several years ago when Des wasn't as versed in her 80s music like she is now.

We make CDs to fit different moods. They are titled such as "80s or country jams" "angry girls songs" "football music" "summer songs" and things like that. We even have a "demo derby CD" one for rock and one for country. We get in the truck and insert the CD that is appropriate for our mood. Our favorite thing is to do duets!

Never saw Bon Jovi, but wasn't a fan, either. I introduced Garth Brooks to a crowd once (as if he needed an intro), met him, got a hug...way back when he had just risen to fame. Gosh that was a couple decades ago. Someone took our picture together but I never got a copy, dang blast them.

Met a few other music celebs over the years, and saw a lot more of them. Got a few autographs, all of which I lost somewhere (or threw away)....

Country, soft rock & a bit of folk music, mostly...

Destiny was in control of the music, but I am responsible for her being an 80s baby (and not being able to sing)! My hubby can't carry a tune, but he reminds me of my lack of talent all the time. Then again, he doesn't try to sing either very often. I try to keep it to a minimum unless it is just Des and I and sometimes you just have to let it rip. One of my all time favorite jams (I have several though) is "Before he Cheats" by Carrie Underwood. I don't know why, but when that song comes on, I just have to belt it out!

I love that song! It's on my MP3 player. You know why we like it so much? Cause if we ever get dumped on, we are going to kick some a&&!!! It's that evil undertone that we both hide so well and what makes us perfect friends!

Oh, and how many fish. Wait til you tell someone, oh yeah, there are 50 or 60 fish in the tank. They picture something the size of carp...

I have a momma duck who doesn't realize what time of year it is and is on like week 3 of her broodiness. I have no idea how many she is sitting on and haven't been brave enough to check!

We have about 35 chickens. The fish tank is small, but we inherited 2 of those nasty looking algae eaters that are freaking huge!! They are also just a few small gold fish in it. They were all rescues that came with the turtles. I would love to get an Oscar fish for it, but it is only 20 gallons. I have always dreamed of a huge tank with one of those in it!

That's right!
I have never been cheated on (that I know of) but if it ever happens, watch out!! I was so excited when we went to the Louisville Slugger Museum and they give out the little bats as souvenirs when you tour the factory! I keep mine under my truck seat. Just in case...

One of the more recent songs that has caught my attention and I love to blurt out is "I Pray for You". We all know someone we would like to sing that tune to!!
