How was your evening? I didn't even see Kenny yesterday! He left around 3:30 AM as usual but had to work late. I had a horrible headache and went to bed at 9. I figured I would hear him come home and get up. but I didn't. He woke me up at 4:30 this morning to say bye. Glad today is his friday
He has 4 days off now. We need to get the old coop cleaned out for my new flock and get Fs room cleaned out too, or at least get a good start on it. But the coop needs to be4 done before she gives the flock to someone else
Glad to hear your weather is getting better. Ours is too. It is cool, but the sun is shining this morning!
I am also glad to hear you are feeling better. I was exhausted last night too. Luckily since I was staying late to decorate, Colton came to town and picked up pizza, so I didn't do a whole lot last night except a few loads of laundry and dishes that had accumulated.

Oh my Lord Pizza sounds good this morning! I woke up with my stomach growling
I got a call back and the Foster Mom said that would work out great if we would take him. She is suppose to get a hold of me today to work out the details
So at least for 2 weeks he will be here. We are going to buy a bed and fix up the room just like it is permanent, maybe it will be good karma
Coop cleaning...oh lucky you, especially in the weather you are having~
I must say you must be nicer than me. If someone woke me at 4:30 AM to say goodbye, then they'd better be going away for multiple days. If they were NOT going away for multiple days then after waking me at 4:30 they might want to plan to do so...

I can understand why most people would feel that way. We have an agreement though, never, never leave without saying goodbye and I love you. We had only been dating a few months, when Kenny was the first to come upon a wreck on his route. A tiny car had hit a semi head on. He walked up to see the woman in the last seconds of her life. He tended to the male passenger while they waited for help. As soon as he could he called and made sure he had said goodbye and I love you before he left. He was really shook up over it, which is understandable, so we made a pact, even if we are angry, this could be my last words to you, make them count
I understand. (But words at 4:30 in the morning probably wouldn't be nice coming from me, so you wouldn't want to remember them, probably. Besides, in my sleepy state, I might revert to half human half primal ancestor...and it wouldn't be pretty 'cause with that haze of sleep hanging over I'd probably take whoever woke me for some predator or other enemy...)
My cats are over here arguing over the BEST spot on the floor. Or rather, my BIG (usually nice but occasionally very bossy) cat is angry that the smaller sweet doll of a kitty won't abandon her spot to him.
She's got THE spot in front of a low heater vent. It's between two bookcases and under a small table. So, all air coming through that heat vent is directed EXACTLY at that one spot. Plus it's in the warmest part of the house I can foresee numerous cat arguments this winter...furniture was arranged a bit differently last year so it wasn't quite as big a deal.
My cats do the same thing only it is THE spot on the back of the couch. The sun shines in there just right and they can see the whole yard! Right now however I have 2 of them on the table
I also have one that loves the warmth of my laptop, so I almost always have to shoo her off before I can come to BYC!!
Funny thing is that they won't share those perfect spots. But, two of them will crowd up together into chairs, etc. to cuddle at other times.
The third one doesn't cuddle with the other two often. She'll deign to sleep on the same bed at night but that's as much as she's going to associate with them.
