Morning all!
Nero is growing SO fast. He's getting taller by the day. He is doing well when I have to leave him at home, too.
Amazing thing is that I think Lucy actually likes him now. She is starting to lay down by his kennel at night, as if she's keeping him company. (Nero is in a dog crate at night. Lucy is not.) In fact, she'll lay almost touching the kennel. It's pretty sweet. Surprisingly, she slept in my bedroom last night right by Nero. Usually, she abandons me for my son. I'm not sure if she was just sound asleep, or if she wanted to stay by puppy. She puts up with an awful lot of rough play from the pup, too. Of course, she weighs four or five times as much and unless he grabs hold of her ears or another "loose" area of skin it is barely noticeable for her. She's doing a good job of teaching him not to bite too hard, which is sure saving me some work.
Snow is getting shallower here, finally. I think it's gradually evaporating because it really isn't warm enough to melt yet.
Big day today. Very important (stressful) meeting today.
