Pretty good. Found a place nearby NOBODY is helping. Caravan Park. Nobody wants to help the poor, apparently. But surprise surprise all those big expensive river side mansions? Bobcats and excavators EVERYWHERE.

Man lost 88 mobile homes, 2 houses and 1 apartment block - and he was still cleaning out another mobile home to give to a homeless family. Army and Salvation Army both promised him people, but they never showed.

How is everyone today!??

It is good to know that you are still out there helping. Sometimes people are so eager in the beginning to help, but forget about it too soon. I am sure it is still a royal mess over there!

to you for being so caring!

I noticed that. The place I went to actually had an article on it in the paper that called it the "Valley of the darn" and the smarmy little teenager they interviewed for it was like, "It was SO much fun helping clean Brisbane because Brisbane was easy and didn't smell as bad as this place!!! It's like walking through Cambodia!!" .... clearly she's 1. never been to cambodia and 2. needs to not volunteer to clean up muddy floods if she's going to whinge about how 'unfun' it is.

And the fact there's an article calling this place Valley of the darn and STILL nobody is helping... you've got to be kidding me!!!

Although the man who owned it was a little funny perv hahahaha.... he kept saying to my friend and I, "Why don't you two girls go have a couple of drinks when you're done, you two look close, you can even have a cuddle!!"

It wasn't until later I realized the entire clean up crew (of 6...) thought we were a lesbian couple!! hahahahaha.

I have Facebook, but don't use it much. Mostly just to lurk. (my word of preference)

Hey! When we come down, can I bring Thunder and you can snip him for me?? He has never been done, won't ever be exposed and I get conflicting advice over whether this should be done with him being 10 years old already. What are your thoughts? In your expert opinion, do you think it would help with his aggression?

I don't think fixing really works well on dogs over the age of 2 for aggro issues...

After that they're kinda stubborn old men.

Dogs, I mean.

I just need SOMEWHERE to get this off my chest:

I CANNOT STAND THIS WOMAN I HAVE TO DEAL WITH. She's like "friends" with all my friends and butts her way into every aspect of my life because she pretty much wants to emulate me while being her own special little snowflake... but that's not the problem I have with her...

The &*&@(*@ woman is not a citizen here, which, cool, neither am I - but the SECOND the floods hit she starts panicking she's going to be kicked out of the country because HER paperwork MIGHT have been effected (bull, immigration is 13 floors up) and then she says "I'm going to get away from these floods and go back to Malaysia!!".... so wait.. you want to stay in the country but leave it when it's in trouble? Well, she finds out she CANT go back to malaysia... so she goes TO SYDNEY. TO WAIT IT OUT. She comes back, find out NOTHING of hers was damaged and then CLAIMS THE THOUSAND DOLLARS FLOOD VICTIM HARDSHIP GRANT so she can go to... get this... San Francisco.

And the whole time she's whinging that she can't understand why Australians are so quick to scream at her when she asks questions. Maybe because you're a self-absorbed abuser of the system from another country who pretends to want to be a citizen but instead uses the country for money and refuses to help the place you call home when it's in need.... but, y'know... HAVE FUN IN SAN FRANCISCO!

Ugh.

Okay I'm over it.

Good afternoon all.

Kelly, just read about your accident, hope you are feeling better. You are a lucky lady. are we facebook friends?

Rozz, are we facebook friends -- i saw where you posted a new picture of the puppy, i want to see the puppy.

Tanya -- how is that tooth -- oh and thanks.

Michelle, Des -- hope things are well with you

Tex -- don't you just hate coming back to work and nothing has gotten done. in so many cases, the things sitting around are not your total responsibility, they are every ones, but since you have been taking care of it, they automatically become your job. keep a good attitude, i am sure it will be noticed and pay off for you.

Elizabeth -- wow, selfish people are all around you right now. just keep venting to us, believe me i know it helps to talk things out and get some warm hugs from this thread of ladies --

which brings me to

thanks charmed....

Nat, how are things going i see you are busy.

We had our first day of a quality control audit, our fabrication company is trying to get AISC certified we have to have every aspect of our procedures audited and tested. another full day of it tomorrow. The auditor loves to tell stories, so if he had just kept on track we would of finished the whole audit today. some of the stories were funny though, and he is pretty nice fellow.

anyway, i am off to go take care of business. talk with you all soon.

If he's set in his ways it may or may not help with the aggression, but I think it's worth a shot. It WILL keep him from getting nasty prostate diseases as he ages.

And besides, I think all dogs should be neutered unless they're being bred by a responsible breeder.

ETA: And, yes, I will snip him.

Thank you! I will take this into consideration. When I ask, I usually just get the talk about being responsible, but he is never around any females nor will he ever be, so that isn't a problem. I wanted to know about health benefits, his behavior and if his age would be a factor. You have helped! Our vet told me the same thing, it may or may not help with aggression, but at his age she is leaning more toward not. I am also concerned about them having to deal with him while he is there. Will it be overnight? They know how he is and are very helpful, but I still worry.

Most dogs don't have to stay overnight after spaying/neutering, unless there are complications. We (as in vets everywhere) are use to dealing with aggressive dogs...we have good drugs.
