I think with two you have a leader and a follower, or they are simply companions. When you get to three you have pack dynamics forming and it gets more complicated.

Nero is growing way too fast. He doesn't fit up on my lap anymore. I can barely lift him now.

it has been a pretty quite morning around here today - lazy saturday morning!

im still having coffee... fed all the birdies this morning - about to go out and get eggs and let them out for the rest of the day. move the mini coop and maybe move the mama and chicks coop too

So.. let's talk about weight.... 2.2lb = 1 kg. Here's what messed me up the most: What's a serving of meat? I'm now in kilos and I'm serving two people, how much meat is a lot or a little? 1/4 pound per person is good with sides. Okay what is that.. two people.. half a pound! Oka.. half a pouns is .... about a quarter of a kilo... what is a quarter of a kilo? Crap.. now I need to know THAT too... 250 grams.

Yeah, I wouldn't even attempt to cook using metric, lol. What's really funny is that in every other way I'm a math head, LOVE playing with numbers.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend, been kinda quiet here, gettin stuff done around the house. I think my other half is picking up his middle grandson that lives near here, YAY!!! I have missed the boys soooo much.

Sounds lovely. I'm really glad you've taken em in like you are.

I've never really known a quiet house since I was the next to oldest outta 5. Even when my kids were young we always had all kinds of teens around cause my brothers and sister lived with me, or practically lived with me. I have no idea how I'll deal with it once the kiddos have all flown the nest.

I have one sister and my Dad didn't like the hustle and bustle of a lot of kids. So our house wasn't the hang out after about 4th grade. This has bee really good for Raymond. These kids were friends of his and they all have the same friends so there is always an extra 1 or 5! They all call me Mom, except for Frank , he calls me Barbie, because my husband's name is Ken

Living in the country R always felt isolated, the fact that his house is the hangout now is really exciting for him

Ahhh home from the concert. For those who were wondering, it was a John Two Hawks concert. He composes and plays flute music, among other instruments. Some of his cd's are flute only. Others are a combination of flute and other instruments -- guitar, keyboard, and all sorts of others. Some have some vocals, too. He does all of these himself for most music, although a friend has done a bit of work with him for a few songs.

It's always so restful to go to his concerts, even though this one was in a part of town I hate going to because I don't like the parking nightmare.
