Nat you go girl -- show them boys how to handle a piece of equipment...

Oh and I hate crocks even though I own a pair.... People wear them in the barns (the open ones) and you see cow crap all over them.

But I do wear them around the yard when working outside and love their comfort. Never tried the winter crocks, I wish crocks made a "cowgirl" boot.

last night the rain came down so hard, it felt like the roof was going to cave in. i felt so bad for my redneck hens out in the trees. but this morning they were all out and about ready for their treat.

Hello everyone! We have survived the great whiteout. Now to begin the cleanup.

I'm not sure what the tv stations are saying our total is now. I've seen wildly varying numbers. The first time we shoveled, though, there were 7-8 inches on the ground. We shoveled three more times before coming in. By the time we finished, the drive needed shoveled again. I'd estimate two more inches one time, and at least an inch and half inch on subsequent times. Parts of it got done yet again, even. There are at least two inches out there now.

I know that the yard shows a bit less than all of that added together because the top stuff weighted it down. I still say we got about 13 inches worth, ROFL, because that's what we shoveled.

Poor dogs trying to walk in this. I can't help but wonder how Nero is managing to go when he's literally partly down in the snow...his nether region must be awfully cold.

No work yesterday or today...or rather, I don't have to go in. I only worked on school stuff for an hour yesterday. Today is another story. I need to buckle down and get things DONE. Even if we have school tomorrow I'm figuring on a high absence rate, so we may do some videos...we'll see.
