not sure what we are going to do today. it has stopped raining and looks like the sun may shine through. i want a pedicure and manicure, and maybe go buy me something new to wear. i love feeding my soul.

We have a radio auction in the winter and we have one in the summer (they run like 10 weeks each). Businesses give us stuff to auction off and whatever the value of it is is how much advertising they get. Like if they give us $100 worth of stuff to auction off, they get $100 worth of advertising. The sales people get commission on what the item actually sells for, and the station gets the money. It's kind of a win-win for everybody lol

Morning Robin! A mani/pedi sounds like a great plan

I am just going to hang out at home with Raymond. The other kids will most likely be out this afternoon. I might bake something, its snowing AGAIN and that makes me want to bake

Kenny is at work and Raymond is sleeping in so here I am

Oh speaking of something new to wear!! I hardly ever (maybe once a year) buy new clothes. Honestly I have fun shopping at our local thrift store and searching for cute like new things. Plus we have no clothing store AND everyone here knows my aversion to driving in to the city by my lonesome

BUT a few weeks ago we were food shopping at WalMart and Kenny spotted these cotton cargo type pants in a cute gray camo print for me! They were $15 and oh so cute. So we got them. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more pair from Walmart .com yesterday

Plus a cute Tee with Betty White on it that says, better than ever

It was purple, I had too!!!! I bought the pants in green camo and a Dune color. They are comfy and light, perfect for spring and the roll up and button like capris for summer
