Did I tell you we are going on another adventure next month? Des and I and sis are taking Grandma and Grandpa back to Indiana/Louisville the weekend of March 12th. Grandpa's niece is getting married and being the good children we are, offered to take them back out there! I told Des it is her job to keep Grandpa in the vehicle as we are going down the road this time!

Elizabeth...don't think of it as "using" them. Think of it as him paying room and board with his labor. Oh, and by the way, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with housebirds, ROFL. My quail are all inside. Of course, it takes about 6 of my little (non jumbo) coturnix quail to equal one chicken and all 30 of the button quail probably don't equal one chicken...

Resting for 5-10 minutes then have several hours of work to do yet tonight. My wonderful son (he really is) forgot his calculator for school. So, instead of getting a nice 5 hour block ALONE at home to do my work, I get to take him back out and get my block of time divided into three small chunks. I don't concentrate well that way. That means I'll be up til 2...dadgummit!

That is just too gross!

I can handle sticking my bare hand in the quail pens man or stepping in barefoot, but the idea of my coffee being desecrated in such a way is too much, ROFL.
