Morning all! Just a quick hello as I drink my second coffee and continue grading papers. Then off to teach a couple of class sessions, then more grading, then later today I have that class I'm taking. Might get to bed before midnight, but no promises! Wanted to get through the car wash today, too, but it just isn't happening. Maybe I can run around the corner tomorrow and do it.

Pictures of tank dog later this weekend, as requested...can't do it this morning. The two tanks are outside playing now. They are really enjoying this beautiful weather. I can actually put them outside and let them play a bit before they start barking to come back in!

Morning everyone.

Michelle I think your lung bug got sent down here to me. I was up alllll night coughing and feeling like I have been run over by a truck. Had a little fever and think I pulled something in my stomach from coughing so hard.

DH also brought home poison ivy/oak so I have that on my hands, back, and stomach now.

OB doctor is going to work me in at 10:30 this morning instead of waiting for my appointment at 5 this afternoon.

On a good note, it was 72 here yesterday and is going to get up to about the same today so can't complain about the weather!

Tex, I would be proud of "Uncle Pat" too if he were my bro. Cool website!

It is very stressfull..I know there are a few faces that are walking around here that will not have jobs come Friday:-( I have been keeping so busy to avoid people:-( I believe my job is intact for sure but wow what a week....
enough about that sad crappy stuff...anything good and juicy going on??

We are expecting to be in the mid 60s today, so the snow keeps melting and my front yard lake keeps growing! I guess I shouldn't complain though, at least there isn't snow in the forecast until Sunday night!

Oh, forgot to mention, a friend from work woke me up this morning to say that they think they got the guys that killed the 2 postal workers at the Henning post office back in October.
Story goes that for reasons I don't know, the cops were chasing a young guy that jumps out and starts unloading 2 hand guns on them. Cops take cover until he is out of ammo and when he seems to be reaching for another weapon in a pocket, they unload 5 shots to his chest and kill him on the spot. His dad then comes to either the scene of the shooting or police station and starts trouble and is arrested for disordly (SP) conduct and later confesses that he and his son were the ones that did it.
The Ripley post office (where I work) is going nuts with everyone telling stories that they heard that it was hard for my friend to get a story that agreed with anything anyone else said but I called my brother and the story I just told is what he said was on the local (Memphis) news channel's website. Some are saying they already have a gun match but others are saying it is too soon to say.
This is the first real break the cops have gotten since the shooting 4 months ago so I am glad they got this but just hope it is the real people and not someone they are just trying to pin it on to say they solved the crime.
