I eat a lot of beans charmed, I do fix meat, I just don't eat it much. Hubby is a meat & potatoes guy, lol. Nuts are also a really good source of protien. Fish is really good depending on if you're off all meat or just red and white meats. I know when I was married to my ex we'd always eat fish on Fridays, yum yum

Sorry Tex, hugs, wish I could help. Are you on sat. at home too? That's why I have a bandwidth cap. What gets me is 6 miles either side of us people can get dsl and cable, grrrr.WTG on trapping and killing that coon, I keep a air pistol loaded since they have come after my chickens once. Luckily it didn't kill any, just put the one it attacked into shock for a bit.

I'm in the same boat. That's why I got my new phone. DH said I could either get internet out at the farm or get a new phone with internet. Internet would have been satelite and I have heard horror stories about that so I went with the phone. I have unlimited everything and get great service. I miss the big screen of a computer but otherwise, I'm happy

re the same way at our office. not a mile down the road they have dsl but nope not here at the office. we have hughes net. satellite is not the best, but it's much better than dial up. I have the verizon wifi at home and it works great.


i am inches away from figuring out what is wrong with my shower. i called moen and they gave several things to check. so me and one of the guys from work is going to head down there in the minute and see if we can get it fixed.

WISH ME LUCK, SEND GOOD VIBES MY WAY. I am so ready for nice long hot shower --

LOL, sorry, but that'd really stink, so cloooose but so far away Tex. I love livin in the boonies, just miss the cable/dsl options.

That wouldn't work for us charmed, just too many internet users in the house. Now once the nests empties out in a few more years we might go with that option, naah, like my puter too much, lol. But sat. is much much better than dial-up, ugh.

San, it's not facebook that we have problems with, it's our internet company only allowing us to use a certain amount per day.

We're hoping they get u-verse in here soon, they have no caps. Eagle One is also supposed to be servicing our area too soon, so maybe

we'll have some options eventually. Livin in the country is worth the small drawbacks though

So sad, my bosses dog has been not feeling well for over a week and stopped eating night before last, she took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with diabetes, and hook worm. the dog has lost so much weight since the last time i saw him about 3 weeks ago.

They have put him on 2 shots of insulin a day. We are confused, we would think that there should be a time where the blood sugar is checked. How does the vet know that two shots a day is the right amount -- too little or too much.
