My eggs are due to hatch this weekend, did I tell y'all that I have 2 either Polish/Delaware or Polish/Buff mixes in there? I'm wondering how they'll turn out. We went to First Monday in Ripley MS and bought 4 blue or blue splash silkies, I'm not good with the coloring yet so I'll have ta post pics, We also bought a white silkie roo who needs some tlc. Have any of you ever crossed a polish hen with anything else? I only have 1 hen and no roos for her so I'm thinking about putting her with the new white silkie after quarantine. What I am gonna try to do this summer is get me some more white hens to go with him, I REALLY miss our whites we had last year. We saw a barn on the way to Ripley and I told Ed "That's the kinda barn I want, only with enclosed yards attached!" He said that it looked great and wants to try to find plans for it

. How is everyone after that nasty storm that came through? We lost electric a couple times, but no trees fell here so I'm happy. Woke up this morning and was relaxing and it went off again for about 5 minutes, the skies are clear so I figured maybe a branch fell on a line or something. Had fun chasing my blue Silkie roo that I've had for a while now, he slipped outta the chicken tractor and thought he was big enough to fight my buff and Delaware roosters, ugghhhh. Took abut 15-20 minutes to catch the lil rascal. Hope everyone is having a great week so far

what a whirlwind of a day. trying to get my boss (the man) to understand something is like -- well you know... I am right and he is wrong and he cannot see it. We have worked on the same problem all afternoon yesterday and then again this morning. Everyone else understands the way I am doing it is the correct way except for him. It's one of those things -- it's six of one 1/2 dozen of another. I told him that I would do it his way but the end result is going to be the same. It just means i have to totally rework my system, my accounts, all my invoices everything, just because he can't see it the way it's being done is correct. but i will do it, because he is the boss.

Just got a call, my cousin went to the hospital this morning with an Angina attack. She just turned 48, was having chest pain yesterday and throughout the night and decided it was time to go to the hospital. They have taken her down to run dye to see if there is a blockage, if so they will do a stint. PRAY FOR HER PLEASE....

I have not heard anything yet. I am praying it will all be fine. I have had grandfathers, uncles, aunts, my dad, all older than me go through something like this and I was worried and sad it was happening, but I have a totally different feeling with her. she and I grew up together, we are best friends, she is two years younger than me. It just "feels" different.

He finally ceded, and told everyone I was right. But every time i go past his office he is still trying to get his head wrapped around it. In honesty, I did the same thing when I first started with the problem, but common sense kicked in and I was able to use the correct side of my brain and shazam -- there it was and it ain't left yet. HA
