Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

morning ladies... hope everyone is safe after all these storms we have been having across the country. Praying for those who lost family members and those who lost their homes. So sad.

Awesome San -- that sounds so exciting.

I googled it and a lot of stuff about racing comes up -- that struck me as odd for some reason.

Hahah Monza is know for it's F1 racing and grand prix's also for it's motorbike races. How ever I work for the dutch roadservice ( semilar to the triple A) and we have supporting offices in France (Lyon), Spain ( Barcelona), Greece ( Athens) and Italy ( Monza). During the summerseason it's always a very busy time for us.

On an average day during this season we get about 12000 calls from people stranded with carproblems al over the world. We also work for several healtinsurance company's that have there emergency dispatch under our label ( don't know how else to discribe this). Last year it was the first time that the Italian/ German roadservice ADAC wanted a employee from us. So a women from my office went. And because they where very suprised by our knowledge and working skills they wanted it again also in France. At the last day I decided after talking to BF about it to aply on it. And this morning a got the green light out of four others.

I am going to take care of the strandinglocations, following up for cardiagnoses, searching for rental cars or shipping back cars.
The main language at the office is German and that's my second language because of my German relatives.

How exciting! Where will you stay? Do you get to go see the sites too? Monza is way up in Northern Italy. Will you get to see Rome? I am so jealous! I loved Italy!

I am staying in a appartment just for me a closed residence. What sites do you mean? I don't know about Rome maybe on a day off, Milan I do want to go too.

Oh goodness! There's the Colosseum, The Vatican (Sistine Chapel), Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, The Forum! You've got to see Rome! It's wonderous!

Storms? What storms? Send some rain down here!

San - sounds like an amazing experience! I spent a month in Chile one summer during vet school, working at a small animal clinic down there. It was great and we got ot see the sights on the weekends. luckily a friend who speaks Spanish went with me.

I am exhausted. I worked day clinic Monday, day and night Tuesday and yesterday, and will be working night shift tonight and day shift tomorrow.

The vet who I grew up shadowing is in Paris, so I'm filling in for him this week. It's a great opportunity for money and to get some daytime experience, but boy the extra hours wear me out! I feel like I haven't seen Wyatt in 3 days, who, by the way, is starting to crawl.

Now we're in for it!

LOL, I'm usually not that crazy, but I always fill in for this particular vet while he's gone. I am planning on buying his practice in about 5 years when he retires, so might as well get use to it.
