She is right, I want all of it!! We need the booties and onesies, oh and have to have that track suit! I am trying to narrow the list down some!

the booties -- they were to cute. I saw a onesie with I POO ON MIZZOU -- thought that was funny.


My stresses have turned to excitement. I am going to the beach with friends for 4 days.... We have been talking about what we are taking and what we need and what we are going to cook for supper and breakfast and the fruity drinks we are going to make and how many coolers we need and the wagons to get the stuff to the beach. -- I THINK I NEED A BIGGER TRUCK. got my toes and nails done, bought a new bathing suit, got bessy ready for the kennel. Now Friday just get here....

Robin--I am so excited for you!! I am sure you will have lots of fun!!

I am definitely getting the booties!!

We are busy collecting things to send to the folks down in Joplin. The community response has been so overwhelming! The Chillicothe Elks started collecting Monday and had a semi-trailer full by yesterday afternoon that left out this morning and stuff is still coming in besides what wouldn't fit in the truck. My heart really goes out to all my fellow Missourians who have lost everything. I have a classmate/neighbor who lost his house down there, so it really hits home.

We have gotten over 4 inches of rain since Friday and expecting more this evening and tonight. Thank goodness we have had nothing really severe. This has been a crazy spring!

I'm planning on going over to a friend's house in Orlando next week and leaving Wyatt with her nanny (her kids are 18 months and 3 months) and taking us both for pedicures, getting eyebrows waxed, etc. It will be a much-deserved treat for the both of us! I also bought a new bathing suit this year, in my "normal" size, and it is my motivation for getting rid of the rest of the baby weight and then some! I only have 3 lbs to go to get back to pre-baby, and would like to lost another 6 at least by the time we go on vacation in July.

That will put me within 5 lbs of what I was when I got married.

Sunday we're going to Aquatica (Sea World's water park), so that should be a blast! I haven't been to a water park in at least 6-7 years and the one I liked the best is closed now, so we're going to give this one a shot. I'm going with Wyatt, my mom, a friend from work, her DH, her mom, and her 5-yr-old daughter. We should have fun!

5 of my broodies hatched chicks yesterday. I think there were 11 last night (I didn't give them a lot of eggs b/c I really don't need any more chicks!). I'll have to take the ones away from the broodies on the ground b/c the freaking stick tight fleas are crazy right now and will suck them dry. I've been dusting weekly and the population has gone way down, but just a few are too much for new chickies. I HATE those things!
