Howdy gals -- hope you all had a great weekend. I had so much fun, the place we stayed was perfect, the friends were perfect. i got to go dancing, boating and beaching what more could i of asked for --

we could sit on our deck and watch the big ships come in -- it was too cool.

but back at work and it's pretty busy, just wanted to say hellllooo....

Saturday Wyatt drove me NUTS. He's in that separation anxiety phase where I only have to ACT like I'm going to walk away and he freaks, plus he was running a little fever with a URI, so he was extra clingy. I got not one flippin thing done at the house.

Finally met my parents for dinner and pawned him off for a few hours.

Sunday we went to the water park and had a blast! Lucky for me Wyatt loves the water and they had a great kiddie area! Mom and I ended up upgrading to year passes, so we'll be going back often! Didn't do much yesterday, went into work early at 2 b/c they were super busy. Back to the grind...

Yes, Wyatt's feeling better, no thanks to the on-call pediatrician. I called Saturday when it started and asked if she would refill the amoxicillin script that his regular doctor gave him last time. She had the nerve to tell me no, amoxicillin doesn't work for upper respiratory infections, and I should just wait 7-10 days and bring him in if he's still sick.

Seriously?! She calls herself a doctor?! He had TONS of green eye gook pouring out and she says "kids get that all the time."

Needless to say I took the liberty of giving him the amoxi I had left over from the previous time and he was cleared up in 2 days. Wait 7-10 days, what?!

Look what I got!! A client brought this beauty in after it got hit by a car today. It has a fracture of the wing, which one of my colleagues is going to fix surgically tomorrow. Ain't it cute?!
