Nat - are you sure you have to have surgery? My dad tore his meniscus a few years ago (although not his ACL) and decided not to have surgery (he's terrified of anesthesia) and he walks normally now. Although, I have to say, if you were a dog I'd be recommending surgery too.

Oh, and I think if you DO have to have surgery you should just come visit me afterwards and I can wait on you.

Tanya, how long will your DH being doing this job? What part of Colorado? I know many of woman whose husbands have taken jobs out of state to support their families. for the sames reasons they did not want to uproot their families, sell their homes, etc. Kind of like being a military wife -- My ex did 6 months in and 6 months out for three years. I only got to see him when he was home for six months.


Well it's a big week -- mom, my two sisters and I are heading to the beach. I am so looking forward to it.

I go to the orthopedic specialist today to lok over my MRI and pick a surgery date! dammit....Now I'll have a scar on every part of my body..Isn't it bad enough that having children left scars all over?

To answer your question "Gathering Of the Godesess" is a weekend in september. A bunch of my close friends are joining me here in MT for Margaritas and bonding time! I have never had a "womens" weekend before so really looking forward to this and all the wonderful company. I saw the name in a catalog and thought, ah ha!! Perfect! After all, we are all just gorgeous

Robin thank you for your understanding. We are meeting some opposition from Kennys family on us living apart. The way I see it if our marriage is what it is suppose to be then it will work. It will either work or it won't , together or apart. I think that goes for any relationshp. I am fully aware that things can happen but I believe that if we both continue to live our lives with honesty and respect for each other even when not in each others company, there should be no problem. I am also aware that it will take a little more effort to keep things alive but I have to say we are both looking forward to the "new" element that will be there. The excitment of seeing each other after a couple of months. Actually hving something to talk about on the phone. Little ways to suprise each other from so far away. Like you said sort of like a military family. In fact my SIL is a miitary wife and she told Kenny that it was kind of fun to come up with new ideas and it made them appreaciate each other more. It is only for 2 years. Raymond will graduate in 2013. Then I will move down and if we dont have a house bought already we will then. We are giving Raymond the option to live with us in CO and attend college if he wants. Or he can choose to stay here and attend college. His Dad lives in MT so he has support here to. It bothers me to think of living in a different state than my baby, but I guess its part of growing up
