One really cute story .. I thought I had lost 10 ... but right a dusk my banty rooster started running toward the woods.. I was thinking "What the HECK is he doing?"

He got to the edge of the woods and stood all high headed and such... so I walked over. One of the banty hens (who has seen the bad end of a hawk before) was HIDING in the bushes... I had to flush her out and then she and Half Pint ran like crazy to the coop. He was showing me where she was ... Poor babies.

God knows, they have a BIG enough coop to stay locked up .. but this dang HEAT was just too much, imo.

Praying for the break in the weather that has been forecasted..
