We just bought our first rifle. It was a gift "we" bought for Mark's birthday present. I guse that's the way it goes when money is short. Buy the gift together. (I got mulch for my birthday) I do like surprise gifts but any gift is better than no gift. So the rifle: BEAUTIFUL machine! Laminated wood handle with hand grip carved out so smoothly. 22mag. They guarenteed it would take care of the coyote problems we have. Mark has nevcer shot and will only use it for practice shooting. He is truely and Angel on earth and cannot kill anything. I do the culling and just once asked him to assist in putting a deformed chick out of it's misery since it was too small for me to do without risk of injuring my hand and I thought he ws going to pass out. So after we clean it and get aquaited with it and I have him do some practice shots, I'm off to hunt. I used to target shoot before and have experience in weapons of all sorts but he doesn't so I want him comfortable with it.

For my birthday, in July if my body doesn't again ask for medical treatment of some sort and we can't afford it, I want handgun called "THE JUDGE". Perfect home defense weapon. You can load buckshot in the first round and the next rounds can hold 45 caliper triple slugs. Stuns and pushes back on the first round, stops and disables with the next rounds. The rounds drop within a few hundred feet so if you miss, they won't carry off your property and accidentally hurt/injur what you wouldn't want to.

Our farm is so far out that air horns cannot be heard by our neighbors - let alone a scream for help. I called 911 2 weeks ago and got into an argument with the operator - she said we didn't exist. I begged to be put through to our county police department but she refused. I finally grabbed a knife and went out to protect my husband and property myself - gratefully it was some friends who were using another vehicle and were dumping wood on our burnpile. The police never came and the 911 operator never called back to see if I was OK. If it had been something bad i would not have been missed for 2 days.

Gotta protect your own when you're too far out.

Darn! Next time, because there will be one!! Nat is texting me right now. She hasnt mentioned her knee yet today but I will ask her. The 8th is Michelles sons birthday too. Then mine, then yours then Nats!!~ Busy month! Yesterday was 5 years together for Kenny and I. We will be married 5 in March, we didnt waste a lot of time! LOL Oh and I have a neice, a SIL and and AUnt (today) with birthdays this month!!

My computer died in May and I have been working 6 days a week since June so not much time to do much else but sleep.
Ian is 5 months now and fat and happy as can be. Big brother Isaac is doing good too.

My knee is hanging in there! Had Pt yesterday and of course really sore today He wooped my but yesterday-its a good thing he's "Scotty the Hotty therapist!!!!" At least that' what my niece calls him LOL....My knee clicks? I hate it..When I step to pick my right knee up to take a step-Its grind and makes a grounding/clicking noise? He had me doing some sort of knee presses yesterday with his hand over my knee to feel what I was talking about-he couldn't hear it but felt the clicking thing? He's not sure what it could be he just knows what it isn't or shouldn't be...Big inspections at work this week again..

Mark grandmother was over at his Moms all weekend and she was sick-gagging and coughing-farting-burping ( all the time) she's 94 so she has earned the right to do the last two without caring I guess?

She is as deaf as a box of rocks so it makes it even funnier....Sometimes we'll be sitting there eating dinner and she lets out a football player RRRbbbbbrrrrrrrrbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr RUMBLE BUTT TOOT and we just have to turn and laugh--OMG its a riot!!!

Paradise-thats terrible! If something really bad went down-theyd play back those tapes and have to realize they screwed up by not putting you through to who you needed to talk to or could you hve hung up and called the local boys???

Paradise, i have the judge. LOVE IT. sorry your 911 call was such a wreck. My boss had an issue where 911 didn't have them on the radar. Had to get the county to do something to prove to 911 they excited. maybe you should call the city or county you live in or near. Keep safe.

Nat, the grand mother sounds like a few I know too, but they aren't 90ish yet. Hope they figure out about your knee, that would drive me insane. Love the visual of scotty the hotty pt guy.

going to the doctor today to check out my constant coughing. feel like i may have the walking pneumonia too.
