Saw this plucker and wanted to know if anyone here has ever used one?

If so, how does it work?

Thanks!

I've never used one, but there is no reason that they would not work. Just be careful how you hold the bird, so you don't get your fingers plucked.

Here's a homemade version:

Here's another by Dux:

I'm thinking about buying one.
They are very reasonable compared to a thousand $ piece of equipment!

It says it can handle dry plucking? Anyone ever tried one of these for dry plucking? That is the method I hope to use for man reasons.

Edit: haha, many reasons, not "man reasons".

You could buy a tub-style plucker for the same price as that first one you posted. Tabletop style is fine and works well for doing just a few birds. I don't know about dry plucking though as I have never tried it. I love our tub plucker. We can do several birds at a time and they come out perfectly. We've done a few thousand birds in our plucker over the last year and a half and it's still working great!
