Ever seen a triple yolker?

We have one hen that lays double yolkers quite often, and my children fight over them..But, has anyone ever seen a triple? I haven't, just curious...

That's amazing! My mother told me she saw a triple yolk egg once when she was a child. No idea what breed chicken laid that one...
 
would it be possible for that to grow into Tripplet chickens if it was fertil!!! i've cracked open eggs from the store before with 2 yolks in it.. and we get a giggle out of it sayin awww twins,

but now that we have chickens. I dont know about any of you but I can't look at eggs or chicken the same way lol. I still eat them but I could never Eat one of our birds!!! not matter what
 
Hens over two years old sometimes lay triple yolk eggs. I have a Mennonite poultry farmer friend who used to bring me eggs from the hens he was getting ready to replace with younger stock. They were HUGE and most were double and triple yolk.
