Ever sew thru your finger?

I just did! Wanted to surprise my SO before he gets home from work by using my new sewing machine he got me for Christmas to make new throw pillows for the couch. Was almost finished when....yeowwwwwwwwwwwww!
Right thru the nail. Called him at work. He suggested ER. I dreaded the trip to town in the cold and dark more than the pain so I pulled it out with some needle nose pliers. Came out in 2 pieces. STUPID STUPID STUPID on my part to rush thru the project.
'Course, my mama didn't call me Grace for no reason! Just as my left hand was feeling pretty good too!

Well, that's pretty good there. I haven't sown through my finger, but I just sliced into the bottom part of my finger and was dripping all the way back into the house. Only moderately bleeding now. Make sure you're up to date on tetanus shots!

No haven't sew through it but I have stapled all the way to the nail....

My mom did that when I was a kid. She just got the machine and was using it on the dining room table. The needle went through her nail too, but she jerked hner hand back and broke the needle off. She had to go to the ER and get it removed.

Ouch! You poor thing. I'm glad you did not have to go to the ER. My finger just hurts thinking about it.

Stapled my thumb, boy was it hard to get out!
My dad smashed both of his big toes twice and
her was the one to make ME! take off his bloody sock and
look at the nasty thing yuck!, it was smashed so bad
he could take the toe nail off and guess what?, he took it right off
infront of me!.


Just watch your finger and make sure theres no infections
and use clean band-aids reguarly, your nail will grow right
back, you seem cool about this though so im sure you go it down
to a beat.

Prom day, I was hemming my slip by hand. I sewed my finger to it through just the top layer os skin. Didn't hurt a bit. I didn't even notice at first. I did feel kind of stupid though.
