I tried to fill up tonight when I got off of work, well most of the stations had plastic bags on the handle, meaning they are out of gas. untill the trucks come I'm staying put.

You are so lucky to have a bug! My great uncle wanted to sell me his 1973 bug for $2200 and he had put $1800 into it to fix it up for me for my 16th birthday. My parents said that I couldn't buy it because we would have a hard time buying parts for it.

Sadly, we have to fill up tomorrow. We're taking the kids to an amusement park. But when the prices go threw the roof here, we put in just enough gas to get where we're going. We get 30-35 mpg in our Honda, so 2 gallons gets DH to work and back for 2-3 days. We moved further away from his job, but we've got more land to grow food now. Just waiting on spring....

if you "stretch" the gas,,,it will go back down a week after the hurricane,,,as you see the prices went up a week before,, and they last till a week after,,,is the oil companies "game",, they think we all think its hard for them, and costs them money when 1 hits,,,, but it dont,, it just brings their production down for 5 days :|
