Try hanging those clothes dryer thing called "Bounce". We hang them all over our place & no flys. Don't know why they work but no flys...

slather all exposed skin with a thick layer of vaseline. They flies will stick and just wipe off the sludge.

get some avon skin so soft sunscreen and bug spray combination. it works wonders. you can use it on yourself and your dog or cat.

Hi! We have those! They're not horseflies, deerflies, or anything I know --- but they look like houseflies and bite like the dickens.
Once they find a target, they'll follow you til you smack them.

Every time I go to the coop the flies just seem to swarm me. It's just so annoying!

Yes the flies are bad this year I guess everywhere. I was told vanilla car fresheners help dont know though I havent tried it yet. By the way a fly doesnt bite. It pukes acid on you to break down what they precieve as food so they can suck it up after it disolves. Its the acid that stings. Kinda gross huh.

I had a fly bite my leg and draw blood.Far worse than skeeters.I have not found anything that works either.
