Dust baths for pigeons..... What do you use?
I've heard of wood ash and sand....? My piggys love water baths and I figured they would want a dust bath.... I left a bag of grit in their room overnight and found them flapping around in it! What would a proper dust bath be?

Mine don't really dust bathe. They take water baths then just lay in the dirt to dry

Mine also just like bathing in water, and then they lay in the dirt and get dirty

But I think what you said would be good (wood ash and sand). Sand is great for coops anyway, so that would probably be he best choice for baths.

Oh yes. They'll always live indoors with us. They have a cage in their own room, but it's only to hold food!
