caesargirl how old were they when you started hand raising them? They look very happy and full in that picture lol

I hatched them in my incubator. They are wild pigeons. The barn their eggs were in was being razed.... They seem to be progressing well. Voracious eaters, and becoming quite active and noisy!!! They look nekked in the pic because I have to rinse them off after feeding! They remind me of miniature stuffed turkeys!!

Yes, I'm hand feeding them. I'm using Kaytee Exact Baby. Started making it an almost watery consistency and now it's at a thick almost porridge consistency.
This mornings feeding was the largest yet... 4 full syringes each (each feeder syringe 3 tsps) I cut the tip off a puppy feeding syringe and rubber band a piece of Saran Wrap over the opening and cut a small slit. They stick their bills in and voila, stuffed miniature turkeys!!!

Thats awesome! They do look like miniature stuffed turkeys, you could name them Stuffing and Cranberry

Let's call it 11... They have horrible table manners, dribbling down their faces an chests!!! I can't even imagine how much food the parents have to ingest to feed themselves and the babies!! I wouldn't fit in my jeans if I did that!!
