My only other suggestion would be to grind up game bird crumble and make it a powder mix it with a vitamin supplement liquid and water to make the formula. A vitamin complex or maybe sav a chick and make the water a gallon at a time.
But I'd see if I could order the Kaytee Exact online.

Last time I checked the Kaytee website it said that, that specific formula was being recalled

A year or two ago the was a recall on a lot code.

Ok, so my babies hatched yesterday. One hatched itself earlier than he was supposed to so there is a very small part of yoke still hanging out. I am not worried about this, because this has happened to a duckling before and it just dried up and it fell off. I'm feeding them Turkey Starter Crumble soaked in hot water for half an hour. They are doing well, their crops are full and they seem happy

They are not alive, candled again and they were super cloudy inside with fuzzyness and brownish where the veins should be

. But 3 other pairs are nesting and have eggs so maybe I'll let one of them hatch an egg or two, just gotta convince my mom first

That stinks. I'm sorry.
What kind of pigeons do you have again? And are any of them imprinted on you? I ask because I'm looking to get another pair. My feral ones are very friendly, but I hatched them so they're imprinted. I didn't know if it was possible to get already hatched birds that would be very handleable...

My first pigeon (in my profile pic) was hand raised from 2 weeks so she is imprinted I think, when she doesn't have a mate she tries to court me LOL, but she is also very happy to have a pigeon mate. The ones I bought as adults still are not "tame", they don't like being held and kinda avoid me.

Oh yeah and mine are rollers, roller mixes, german owl mixes and some other mixes that I have no idea what they have in them.
