We got 3 Black Australorps back in March. At 4 weeks 1 of them looked similar to the 2 pics you posted. They are now around 8 weeks and all 3 look very similar to each other. I think all of ours are pullets, but one started developing a little earlier than the rest. So maybe too early to tell. The wait and see method seems to take forever

Over my years of sexing, I've noticed that Australorps often comb up early. Both sexes. Therefore the cockerels will be pretty obvious quite early. There are of course exceptions to every rule though. So definitely post updated pics in a couple weeks.
