yeah but this is our dogOur neighbors dog was prowling around one of our coops. He has a German Shepherd.
I got them from a feed store. The store carries Hoover's chicks. It may just be a mistake in the parent birds.Where'd you get them? Could it be possible the Buff chick is a Buff Chantecler?
How old is your dog?yeah but this is our dog![]()
They're notorious for mislabeling chicks.I got them from a feed store. The store carries Hoover's chicks. It may just be a mistake in the parent birds.
But is it possible that the parent's genetics could have been messed up? The store had the hatchery packing slip telling what breeds there were. The store also has poultry breeds listed on their website, and buff chantecler is not listed. I guess we'll see when she gets older. They're notorious for mislabeling chicks.
We were looking at the Brahmas, & a feed store staff said they were Golden Laced Wyandottes, because that's what the hatchery said they were.
Are you sure they don't have 2 chick suppliers like some feed stores do?But is it possible that the parent's genetics could have been messed up?
