I currently have 2 brooders with baby chicks, 2 grow lights, seed starting trays, seedlings, and 2 parakeets living in my bedroom!

Wow, lol!!! I've had baby raccoons, puppies, goat kids, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, and all different birds, etc. etc.
In my room.

I'm having a homegrown hamburger on a homemade bun with homemade french fries tonight (thanks mom). Probably with some homegrown milk . I love living on a farm!!

Pot roast from our bull and homegrown purple carrots and potatoes. Yummy yum!

How how old does a cow have to be to be butchered? My dad thinks you have to raise a calf to 2yrs old before butchering.

We don't have any cattle just a curious question.
