Everything is coming up chickens

I'm suddenly more aware of chicken related stuff;

People saying things like "cooped up", and "coming home to roost", and earlier today I was watching The Waltons and the episode was "Chicken Thief."

That's my ramble for today.

Now, I see everything having to do with chickens in ads on my computer, so much chicken research!

I notice the same thing!! There are sooo many chicken sayings, or sayings based on chickens- I notice them all the time now.

Also there is chicken stuff everywhere you go that I never noticed before I had chickens. My son and I have a sort of game where every time we see a chicken image ( billboards, food trays, plates, art, place mats, etc etc ) we go "Chicken"!!!

You can't go any where without seeing at least one chicken image, especially when you're always subconsciously looking for them )!

The other day my son and I had a picknic in the driveway and my daughter asked what we were doing eating chicken where the chickens could see us! LOL
