Just thought I would just share a pic of my gold laced wyandotte that doesn't quite make the grade. She has deformed feet from low humidity at hatching, no lacing and a straight comb...but I still think she is beautiful. SHe was hatched out mid october so that would make her 6 months old. When do wyandottes lay?

She is pretty! I've got three 7 week old GLW chicks, and I hope they're as pretty as yours. Looks like she gets around OK. So cool of you to keep her.

More like no where else to run...lol...She is friendly and I pick her up all the time. She was actually trying to run away from the camera...lol...she didn't like the silver camera pointed at her.

Her name is Pretzel due to the pretzel like feet. She perches ok with the rest. Nothing seems to stops her from doing normal things apart of a little trouble scratching. She has a high pitch cluck too, probably more like a squeal that I find really funny when she gets picked on by the older hens.

I'm sorry I have to say that is the ugliest GL Wyandotte I've ever seen!

- But hey, I've got ugly Silver Laced girls who have ugly temperaments too so just as long as they lay. . . In the nesting boxes.

They're good to me.
