Hi! I actually created this account back in 2010, and posted a few times, but eventually gave up hope of ever having chickens and wandered off. Well, the county laws just changed, and I can now legally own a few hens. I just put in an order at the local feed store, and next week, my first chicks will arrive. I'm stoked! Anyway, I figured I'd better re-introduce myself, since I'll probably be around a lot, asking all kinds of silly newbie questions and making a general nuisance of myself.

Oh, for the record, I ordered a Buff Orpington, an Australorp, an easter egger, and a Golden Comet.
