Ex battery hens need more weight

I saved some ex battery hens from going to the slaughter house (poor birds) and they feel so thin, you can feel their rib cage and I don't like it, what can I give them to gain weight.... healthfully!? Please answer, thanks everyone!!

A commercial laying ration fed ad lib should put the weight back on them.

You may want to check that they don't have worms, lice, mites etc. As battery hens that would surely be neglected. That would also account for them being so thin.

I would imagine that "finisher" feed (thats what its called here in Kenya at least) will help in the short term to add weight, but you'll find that in a 2-3 weeks they'll look a lot better on any regular feed.
