i'm not sure this is the right section, but does anyone know where i can find ex-battery hens in southern new hampshire or the surrounding area?

You could look into this place called farm sanctuary

I was planning on getting an ex-battery hen and this was the closest place I could find. I ended up buying 2 chickens for only $4 each from an ethnic live poultry market.
You could try contacting farm sanctuary and asking them if they know of any closer places with battery hens available.

the only chickens that website had were roosters

i already have 10 and i really can't take any more.
any other ideas?
